Historic walk with audio
Walk through the old historic town of Cromwell while listening to the untold stories of from the gold mining era of this area. We then visit the roaring Meg power station lookout.
Join us on a journey like no other, our fully equipped 4WD all-terrain vehicle can handle any conditions. Spend the morning on The Old Gold Trail to discover Central Otago’s rich history. Your driver will take you off road along rugged 4WD farm tracks to a traditional high country New Zealand farm. As you climb up the mountains, you will see stunning sights of Lake Dunstan.
Our GPS headsets have in depth commentary and will provide you with stories hundreds of years old from early settlers and teach you about historic farming from this area. Sit back and relax as you drive through the Central Otago wine region and pass the Kawarau Gorge on your way to Old Cromwell Town. Wander the historic streets as the town is bought to life with your themed headsets available in English, Spanish and Mandarin.

Clear Eyes13:54 21 Jul 17booked at 1159 pm for next day tour that leaves at 615 am, they missed informing the bus driver due to super last minte booking and the schedule informed not so late , but once they realised the mistake got us free cab to catch the bus en route Bus was excellent, not too crowded, their boat cruise is in colaboration with the Real Journeys another large operator in Queenstown / MF and very nice Overall couldn't expect anything better Left some luggage in the bus (despite being reminded politely to check if all beliongings were taken) and could collect it next day from their office , the lady in the office was extra helpful! Overall an awesome experience
Arun Kumar17:12 08 Mar 17前一晚訂隔天馬上出發，早上7點在top 10等待接送，那麼遠竟然還有接送，真的很不可思議，今天的司機Jamie，非常熱心的介紹沿路的風景，跟逗車上的大家笑，非常歡樂，開車的技術也非常的專業，經過慢長的路程到了米佛峽灣，我們上了船，jamie還特地跑到岸邊跟大家揮手，真的很甘心，遊完湖，回車上看見jamie在認真打掃著車子，這大推，然後他又安全的把我們送回皇后鎮，已經晚上，因為住比較遠，最後下車，他真的把我們送到住的門口，揮手跟我們到別他才離開！推推推

Even if at the first day of our journey we got to know that Milford Sound has landslide and the trip is postponed till the next day, we could feel just happy to spend more days in the bus with this amazing guide! We have traveled a lot and New Zealand is our 81st visited country, and still we are sure that this is one of the best and memorable experiences we have had just because of the guide Cowboy! The stories he told were so interesting, the jokes made us smile all the way and overall excursion was comfy, pleasant and joyful. The tips and advices we received were so useful! Spin The World00:08 08 May 19'The Cowboy' our tour guide has to be the best tour guide on the planet! he made the amazing Milford Sound even more amazing and I could not recommend him or Milford Sound Select highly enough. I was chuffed when looking at all the other cramped buses around us and knowing we had a great bus with an amazing driver/tour guide, his knowledge, great driving and funny jokes were truly something else. I can honestly say this is the only bus to book!

Driver Jamie an asset to the business, was outstanding, had a wealth of knowledge, an excellent driver, funny, yet considerate of all, brilliant! The drive to Milford Sound was equally as stunning as the cruise. A great day! Highly recommend this company and the day trip ( coach/cruise). Loved it!
